What camera(s) and equipment (i.e. lenses) do you use?

Nikon D800 and D7000, with an assortment of Nikon glass:[masked]mm f2.8; 24-70mm f2.8, 14-24mm f2.8, 50mm f1.4, 35mm f2.8, 24mm f2.8, 20mm f2.8, 105mm2.8 macro, 60mm f2.8 macro, Sekonic L758DR light meter, Pocket Wizards, Alien Bees, Nikon SB 900s and SB 800s, assortment of Photek and Photoflex light modifiers. For stability, a Manfrotto CX Pro3 carbon fiber tripod, or a Gitzo Carbon Fiber, with Arca Swiss mono ball, which I find very comfortable and a good height. Use a Gitzo monopod when I go to gymnastics events.

What photo manipulation program(s) do you use? (i.e. Adobe Lightroom; Photoshop CS5 for PC or Mac)

Photoshop CS5, and Aperture. I just got Lightroom 5, and need to learn it.

Is photography a hobby or profession?

Building my portfolio.

What types of photography do you enjoy (i.e. nature; artistic; portraits; landscapes; macro; etc...)

Portraiture of all kinds, architecture, nature, model, urban, watches

Do you have a favorite place/event that you like taking pictures of? If yes, feel free to explain.

Anyplace is fair game. I love photographing cars at monthly Cars and Coffee meetings in Dallas, and really enjoy learning about North Texas with meet ups on location. Regret that I missed Aurora this year.

Photographer and humanitarian, shooting since '63, started on an Argus C3, then Canon TLQL, Nikon SLR and digital since '79. Retired recently from 30 years in television and advertising, shifted my creative energy to photography. Love to learn!
