PodPress Help

Post #: 1
Hi Guys,

I've watched over a dozen tutorials on how to setup Podpress and I'm still having trouble. I'm using Bluehost and storing my podcasts there. If I use the suggested directory path of the files I can see the podcasts in the drop down but when i publish the post the player wont play it. If I specify the file name the player will play the file but then I have trouble submitting it to iTunes. I really need some help.

Best way to debug this is... in order of most likely problem...

1) frist, deinstall PodPress + install PowerPress, as PowerPress replaces PodPress and fixes many problems

2) check your Apache logs to ensure your access log shows your media is returned... so no error log entries

3) next, turn on WP_DEBUG + make sure there are no crashes in PowerPress

That should to the trick.

If you require additional assistance you can Skype me @ davidfavor + add "PowerPress" to your Skype Add Contact request, so I know it's you.
