This group is suitable for everybody. There are no physical yoga postures so the group is suitable for people of any age and ability. The group is friendly, supportive and welcoming.

Laughter Yoga is an innovative concept and is widely established all over the world – simple and profound. It is an exercise routine and a complete wellbeing workout. Initially laughing for no reason may seem awkward but joining DVLY makes it easy. It provides a platform which helps to break down barriers and shed inhibitions and aims to generate good health, joy and wellbeing for the local community. Laughter Yoga also helps boost the immune system to resist diseases and encourages positive thinking.

Laughter Yoga is the brainchild of Dr Madan Kataria, an Indian physician from Mumbai. Diamond Valley Laughter Yoga teachers have been trained by Dr Kataria and work closely with Laughter Clubs Victoria.

Diamond Valley Laughter Yoga is on every Saturday at 9.30 at Alistair Knox Park, Main Road, Eltham near the Playground
