You probably ignore most connection requests because you don’t know the person or they live halfway across the world. Maybe you invite someone to connect after you meet them at a Meetup or a networking event. Or you view a prospect’s LinkedIn profile before your meet with them (they’re viewing your profile 83% of the time before they meet with you!) But you rarely get new clients from LinkedIn because you really don’t know what to do (and it's not your fault.)
