Lee Emerson Bassett (LEB) Toastmasters club, was established in 1935 and was named after Dr. Emerson Bassett, Stanford emeritus English professor and head of Speech and Drama who was dedicated to teaching the art of communication and was a supporter of the Toastmasters program.
Our members are a diverse group from all walks of life, ranging from Stanford students to high tech professionals. The environment at LEB Toastmasters is a friendly and supportive one. Members have the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills at their own pace with the support of more advanced members.
