B29 Lake Meade NV Adventure
Details
DASC has an opportunity to get some members to the B29 in Lake Meade NV. The B29 crashed into the lake at the end of WWII. It has been off-limits to diving and only accessible to select tech divers up till now. The Gov just opened up the permitting to visit the site, and the water levels are so low that it is more accessible, albeit with some rules. The silt at the bottom is very easily disturbed so the most competent and/or seasoned divers need apply. There are no charters in the area. DASC member Josh Brokaw, is the point man on this and using personal contacts to obtain boat and permits. Dive shops get out there so infrequently that it has become next to impossible to book and very expensive. Normally the shops charge $350.00 minimum.
COST $250 per person (this is special DASC price for this dive only). To make it happen we need 5-6 committed divers.
Please contact Bill Bradley from Desert Dog Diving to reserve- details in comments.
