Announcing a new Meetup for Dive Bar Adventures Inc.!

What: Holidays Party and I-PIF-UH-NEE FASHION AFLUENZA

When: December 13,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: Come join us for a very special pre-holidays Party, Fashion Show, and Dance Party at Tatou Supper Club.

This will be the last chance for us to mingle as a group before the MOAM New Years Eve TOGA Party.

We will have plenty of time to mingle while we eat or if you are not eating enjoy a drink. There will be live music followed by a Fashion Show sponsored by THOUGHT CLOUDS, followed by DJ's playing music while the house ROCKS!!!

Mark Fleischman, who hit the scene big in the early ?80s as the owner and operator of Studio 54 (he took over after the Steve Rubell era) and later the Century Club, wanted to bring back the supper club concept after the latter venue recently ended its 13-year stint on Constellation Boulevard (to make way for a new condominium development). He brought on managing partner Iriarte, whose A-List EventZ produces parties for Hollywood?s elite. Also part of the team is TV?s ?Hell?s Kitchen? winner and Chef Michael Wray.

The conversion began in September, with the design team working around the clock to pull off the plush interior, which will pay homage to the old Cocoanut Grove nightclub with a grand ballroom. Pieces of the Century Club and booths from the Beverly Hills Tatou have been refurbished and incorporated into the new space.

?Most supper clubs were very classy and elegant with a very affluent and older crowd,? Iriarte said. ?We?re bringing it into the 21st century.?

Dotted with four 15-foot palm trees and draped with nearly $70,000 in fabric, Tatou will feature a 40-foot stage, two dance floors, multiple levels and bars, an Asian cantina, a smoking patio and 30 plasma screens for entertainment and sports events. Iriarte said a second phase would include a sleek rooftop restaurant and lounge with skyline views.

?Literally the structure was here, and we?re giving it an infrastructure,? Iriarte said. ?That includes POS systems, surveillance, the multi-media aspect, and a recording studio capable of recording live acts and even cutting a professional album.?

Chef Michael Wray has created a Cal-Asian-Latin menu featuring a melting pot of entrees from honey walnut shrimp and dim sum to short rib osso bucco and ceviche mixto. The punk rock cook garnered attention two years ago by winning a FOX reality television show in which he worked with hot-tempered British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. Chef Michael Kwan of the Wokcano restaurant chain is also contributing to the project.

The Fashion Show is sponsored by: THOUGHT CLOUDS
