I just moved out to SF a month ago and have been craving putting together a new weekly (or every other week). I would really like to play D&D Next, I have been doing the beta for a few months and it is really great! So far it would be my friend and myself, along with 4 others (the typical 5 person group with a DM). I have years of DM experience so I do not mind DMing, however I would really enjoy playing a PC instead if a creative, eloquent and fun DM would want to step up! We could meetup at a local gaming store or restaurant to play for the first few sessions and go from there. I have a whole bunch of minis (although D&D Next does not use minis really... but it is still fun if you all decide to) that we can use, along with the rest of the regular gear. We both are very animated people and would be looking for similar players as it is usually very fun if the group is there to sit back and have fun while saving the realm from the vile grip of an impending doom! The play-style we are looking for is fun yet serious, humorous yet direct (read my bio about my favorite event that happened :-P )
If anyone is interested we can try to get the group going within the next couple weeks!
Familiar with most systems, I have been playing for some time. Looking for some kindred souls...
