The Jaycees stands for "Junior Chamber." Our purpose is to give our young adult members (ages 21-40) opportunities to learn how to be civic and business leaders with the end result of improving their lives and the community of DC, too. And we have fun while doing it! We offer our members social opportunities, community service opportunities and chances for networking and personal growth.
We do so many different kinds of activities: social gatherings/mixers, community service, fundraisers, sporting activities, adventures, travels, volunteering, cultural activities, motivational speakers and trainings, awards of appreciation, competitions of debate and public speaking, and much more!
So, whether you are new to DC, just looking to meet new people, have fun, or sharpen some of your professional skills, we strive to be the organization of choice for young adults who want to make a difference! We are always looking for new members, so join up!
Help us answer the question: what can we do FOR YOU?
