What we're about

Calling all Downtown Columbus residents and neighbors! We want you to get to know your neighbors better and ensure a vibrant downtown community.

Join us in a different location every month and be a tourist in your town! Monthly member events are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm. Each event is great way to meet other downtown residents, get tuned-in to the newest developments, and get involved with your neighbors that seek to build a strong community.

The Downtown Residents’ Association of Columbus (DRAC) exists to ensure a vibrant downtown neighborhood. Our mission is to connect members to our community.

DRAC is a civic association comprised of downtown residents, urban partners, and other Columbus residents who have an interest in the ongoing development of our community.

Loving downtown doesn’t mean you have to live here, that’s why we invite you to attend our monthly meetings. Each meeting is held at a different downtown location to promote our businesses, services, and historic sites. In addition, you get to meet many like-minded people who all share a common interest in experiencing the great things our downtown has to offer!

With our amazing connections throughout the city, DRAC is committed to sharing the latest news and developments impacting our community. At our monthly meetings, guest speakers provide a brief presentation on the latest issues, developments and causes that help make us more informed citizens.

Have a concern, question, or recommendation? Let us know! DRAC is often used as a sounding board for civic issues and new developments that impact the community. We celebrate the best of city life and advocate for the improvements that will make downtown Columbus an even better place for everyone.
