IPA Masterclass (2 workshops, €120)

There places available on the upcoming IPA Masterclass.

This is a zoom event with two workshops.
Part 1 - The Basics, Saturday May 15, 2-5pm (UK Time)
Part 2 - Analysis and Viva, Saturday May 22, 2-5pm (UK Time)

The aim of the IPA Masterclass is to support researchers to concentrate on their own research, to focus on how to do IPA and/or how to clearly and succinctly begin to articulate what you are doing and why you are doing it in that particular way.

Part 1, The Basics focuses on the early stages of IPA research, such as Research Question/s, Ethics, Participants, Interview Schedule, Questionnaire. Topic Guide, Audit Trail. Data Collection (usually interviews), and Transcribing.

Part 2 - Analysis and Viva focuses on line by line analysis of each individual case using the double-hermeneutic approach, identifying similarities and differences across cases, developing a hierarchy of themes, writing up findings, and thinking about viva questions.
