What we're about

Drum Circle drummers Dancers in South Florida, Miami, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Delray, Boynton, Lake Worth, West Palm Beach, learn to drum, Dance, Meet local Hand Drummers, Musicians and performers who are interested in creating and participating in drum circles.

Tri-County Florida Drum Circle Meetup was founded in 2006 thanks to the leadership and experience of Mike (aka: BOLO). The emphasis of this Meetup group is to find teachers who wish to teach and students who wish to learn and bring them all together. "Students" can be people at any level from beginner, intermediate to advanced, while "Teachers" can be anyone at an advanced level in their particular niche. This can be drummers and dancers of all disciplines. Hopefully by bringing like-minded people together, we can utilize our newly learned knowledge to have more fulfilling and higher quality drum circles.

As a musician, I realize the importance of Practice in order to master any talent. Drum circles are great for allowing people to express themselves, while disciplined practice is the best way to improve one's skills. Hopefully, this is where this Meetup group can be useful, by merging the two concepts.

Let's face it, for some people practice can be boring and should they have the desire to improve, they would much rather "woodshed" in a group setting. So anyone who is interested in creating a micro-practice "workout" gathering in your area, please press the contact button on the left so we can create a Meetup in your area. has by far the best software platform for this particular purpose. People don't have to be friends in order to receive information, and Meetup is Google friendly when it comes to finding local events in your area.

The Tri-County Florida area is one of the most vibrant places for drummers, dancers and Drum Circle events. It is my hope that we can take our collective talent to the next level. The sea of knowledge is abundant out there, so let's get together and help each other out.
