Drumming and walking

  • Needs a date

  • Needs a location

  • Pete brought up a good point. When we need to walk and drum, as per The Day of The Dead Parade mentioned earlier or Ingenuity Fest drumming. Excellent idea Pete! Yes, if this happens, we will need to walk and play our drums. Like some of us did at Ingenuity Fest. Scott and Baba have made drum slings from nylon, truck tie-down straps, available at Target, KMart, WalMart, etc. There is a method of folding any material to use as a sling. Cloth slings made from fabric are available online from many sources. They can easily be made from almost any colorful or plain fabric for those with sewing skills. I own a REMO Djembe Slider strap, a nylon sling, that I purchased from the Cascio Drum catalog for $29.98. It is 110 inches of material with adjusters and clips to hook up. www.interstatemusic.com. Locally, try Sam Ash or Guitar Center.
