  • PEOPLE'S VOTE Samba Drumming

    Park Lane

I WILL BE BRINGING 'SOUNDSHAPE' DRUMS FOR EVERYONE. Please see photos below. Things have changed since my original post. For the better! Please wear RED and BLACK. We are joining a Samba band - BLOCO LIBERDADE, led by Mestre Mags. I've worked with Mags before and we'll be part of the hand drum section of this marching band. It's going to be BIG! Message from Mags. "Here are the details for this Saturday. I think meeting up between[masked] is fine. The official start time of the is 1pm. It probably move off until[masked]pm. We'll move as soon as we have a critical mass. One thing to avoid is being stuck right at the very back, so please try and get there in time. We are meeting just inside Hyde Park by the Achilles Statue. There's space there for a big group of drummers to meet easily. Its very close to Hyde Park Corner tube station. You can see it clearly here on google street street. Its just where South Carriage Drive meets Park Lane. It'll be very easy to join the march from there." See their Facebook group here and do check out their videos on YouTube etc. https://www.facebook.com/groups/401157287357069/ FREE I will have a rucksack full of SOUNDSHAPES and sticks.
