Welcome to the Drupal NYC monthly meetup!
Please join us on Wednesday, August 7th for our monthly Meetup for an evening of food, drinks, knowledge, and friendship at the HQ of our generous venue sponsor, MongoDB!
All are welcome to attend the Drupal NYC Meetup. At each meetup there will be one or more lightning talks and presentations as well as opportunities for new and old Drupalers to network, socialize, and get their Drupal questions answered.
You must enter your real name on the RSVP question (for building security) by 11am on Tuesday, August 6th or your RSVP will be removed. Check-in opens at 6pm sharp (please don't arrive earlier). We look forward to seeing you!

Presentation 1
Succession Planning for your Drupal Agency: Lessons Learned over 20 years by Joe Bachana
In this discussion, Joe will go over a brief history of DPCI, discuss key lessons learned about how to run a successful agency, then how he successfully transitioned ownership to employees.
Bio:
Joe Bachana began his career in the late 1980's at the New York Times in its Production Technology Group. He furthered his career at the Associated Press as technical services manager for AP AdSend, the digital delivery system from advertisers to AP member newspapers.
Mr. Bachana went on to be senior Project Manager at I.M.A.G.E. Inc, then Senior Account Manager at Inacom, before founding DPCI in April, 1999.
A native of New York, Mr. Bachana is a graduate of both Brown (BA) and Columbia (GS) Universities and holds PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. Mr. Bachana holds certification from Acquia as a Drupal Site Builder.
