This meetup is about the tools you can use to use to further improve the quality of your app, and to streamline development of your apps.
We're very excited that we have two speakers that come to the Netherlands especially for this meetup!
We start of with Eric Lafortune (http://www.lafortune.eu) from Belgium. Eric is the creator of Proguard (http://www.saikoa.com/proguard) and Dexguard (http://www.saikoa.com/dexguard).
Proguard is an Open Source tool for obfuscating (protecting), optimizing and shrinking Android apps, which is included in the Android SDK. If you don't know what this means, come to the meetup to learn from the creator of Proguard! If you do have experience with Proguard: this is your chance to ask Eric you all you want to know. Eric will present on what Proguard is and why it is an important tool for Android developers.
Our second guest is Christopher Orr (https://plus.google.com/103712615773524578393) from Germany. Christopher is the author of the Android- (https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Android+Emulator+Plugin) and Lint plugins (https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Android+Lint+Plugin) for the Jenkins (http://jenkins-ci.org) continuous integration engine. Topics of his talk will include an overview of Jenkins and what benifits building your Android applications using Jenkins + the Android plugin brings.
We will also have a "build clinic" this evening: having trouble with Proguard, setting up an Android project in Jenkins or just don't know where to start? Want to know how to add Proguard to your ant, maven or gradle project or how to run and it using Jenkins on multiple devices? Bring your app and ask the experts!

This meetup is hosted at the Qbus office in Amersfoort, which is only a 5-10 minutes walk from the Amersfoort train station. We recommend coming by public transport if possible.
If you come by car, please note that parking in the Groen van Prinstererlaan is for permit holders only, so don't park there. Instead, you can park on the separate private parking at the entrance located at the Barchman Wuytierslaan. Then walk around the building to the entrance at the Groen van Prinstererlaan.
