Details

Distance- elevation gain: ~7 miles round trip and ~2400ft.

If u do not have the equipment listed below, you will have to go back home from P&R. No exceptions.

Equipment Required -
1. Snowshoes, Ice Axe, Microspikes, Crampons, Gaiters, Gloves (2- layer mitten + glove suggested), Mountaineer shoes, 10 essentials, enough water, Rainjacket, Puffy, Poles, Headlamp.

2. Be ready (layered) for going up really slow in 30F temperatures. Layered tops and pants and gloves, and hat.

3. Always Be equipped for delays due to someone getting hurt. Emergency Bivi strongly recommended.

Speed - Slow paced going uphill, and regular pace downhill

Time - keep full day free

If u are carpooling with someone, pay the driver around ~15$. This is how we calculate carpool costs to be fair to both driver and passenger:
