Why are you interested in Rock & Snow Scrambles and Mountaineering? Do you have heavy shoes, snowshoes, crampons and an ice-axe, are you ready to be roped up?

I'm a graduate of the Everett Mountaineers Basic Climbing program but it's been a while since I've done any climbs. I'll need to brush up on my knots and rope handling. I do have all the equipment for a glacier climb. I've taken the AIARE Level avy class this year and need one more ski trip for the Mountaineers Back Country Ski Class. I've completed the Red Cross Standard First Aid class and the RMI Wilderness First Aid class this year.

We do advanced Hikes, Scrambles & SnowShoe Trips. Please list some of the bigger hikes or scambles you have done in the winter and summer.

I have been on scrambles recently (Persis, Snoqualmie, Baring, Roosevelt). A long time ago I did climb Rainier, Glacier(2), Baker(2), Olympus, Adams(2) and a bunch of peaks in the Monte Cristo area. I skied Mt St Helens on the first day it was re-opened to climbers in 1984.

Have you done some International Adventure Travel? Where have you been or would like to go? Have you lived overseas? Speak any foreign language?

Nothing International. I've been a tourist to Europe but not in the backcountry. No second language.

Do you know anybody in Peaks. There are many hiking meetup groups... have you looked at Peaks'Photo pages and are these type of hikes that you like? Why do you want to join this Peaks Group?

I'm a member of the Mountaineers so I can go with them, but I'm looking for other opportunities to get out. I do like their processes and leadership and don't like going with people who do not feel like they are part of a team.
