What we're about

Animals and nature are a part of us, and are something to be treasured in life and in death.

What we're about:

VULTURE CULTURE.

Vultures are a small community of people with some weird hobbies... basically collecting and admiring dead things! Whether it's picking up an animal skull found in the woods, searching for roadkill, collecting taxidermy or other such specimens, it's all a part of being a vulture. More often than not it's based on an underlying love of nature and a fascination with the biology and behaviour of animals! Some vultures also create art and jewelry out of their finds, which brings life back into their pieces.

* vulture culture is not about killing animals in any stretch of the imagination, and everyone (including vultures) should respect laws regarding animal parts in their state and country.

OBSERVING NATURE.

Going for long walks in the woods, identifying animals and plants, and just being in nature. If you love to spend time outdoors and aren't afraid of getting dirty, this is the group for you! Whether you love bird-watching, nature illustration/photography, or just walking through the woods, that's what we're all about.

RESPECTING ANIMALS AND THE ENVIRONMENT.

If you love nature, what better way is there to show it than to take action? Picking up litter, being respectful of and learning about wild animals, being critical of your consumption of animal products, being aware of environmental legislation and issues in your area--these are all great ways to give back to the environment, and that's what we strive to do.
