Join Us for Our First Group Hike at Las Trampas Wilderness! Sat Nov 15th

I am thrilled to kick off our very first hike together.

Whether you're a seasoned trekker or just looking to enjoy nature with friendly faces, this is a great chance to connect, explore, and unwind.
For our maiden hiking adventure, I chose Las Trampas Wilderness, a hidden gem in the East Bay, just a short drive from the Tri-Valley area. It’s one of my personal favorite spots to hike: close to home, yet wonderfully remote. Expect rolling grassy hills, peaceful forest patches, and stunning ridge-top views that make you forget the city is even nearby.

We’ll be hiking the Elderberry Trail, a moderate route with options to adjust based on group interest and timing. The trail is about 4–5 miles with 1,000–1,200 ft elevation gain, perfect for a relaxed pace and plenty of scenic stops. Plan for 2.5–3 hours of leisure hiking, nature appreciation, and good company.
