John Santos Latin Jazz Quartet

Chapel of the Chimes has a jazz series. I went to the last one and it was amazing! The one in may is Latin Jazz, so I think it would appeal to the group. Note: To sit outside the chapel and listen in is free, but if you want to actually see the band, don't wait until 2pm to buy your tickets as they usually sell out. The box office opens at 12:30, so I suggest we meet for Spanish conversation at that time at a nearby cafe so everyone who wants a ticket can get it early.

12:30-2pm conversation at Fenton's Creamery 4226 Piedmont Avenue-FREE

2-3:30 pm Show at chapel of the Chimes $15 (or free if you sit outside)

Percussion, piano, flute, sax and good mix of cuban traditional music, originals and a few standards, all with a Latin feel.

In case you did not get the message, we will be meeting for conversation at Fenton's Creamery. I've sent my phone number to "yes" attendees, but email me if you did not receive it.

Hey all, I've limited the attendees to make it easier to organize, but the show is first come first serve as far as tickets go, so feel free to join us even if the event is full.

Up to you. I'm definitely going into the show and have 2 friends joining me. The sound is MUCH better inside the chapel and you can see the band too. If you sit outside, you can still listen, but it's just not as good or you can just join for conversation and skip the show altogether

Is the group planning to pay for the show or just sit outside then?
