So I did Gusto 101 a couple months ago and I thought we should check it out again!
Gusto is an Italian eatery on King West (the wine is also made in the restaurant’s own winery!) Some of the pasta dishes include rigatoni al pomodoro with
bufala mozzarella and fettuccine ai funghi with portobello, oyster and porcini mushrooms.
A Tuscan-style wood-fire grill is used to prepare mains like the Moroccan “brick chicken,” which is cooked sous-vide then finished on the grill and served with Swiss chard and garlic smashed potatoes. Desserts include mascarpone tiramisu and dark chocolate mousse with caramel, olive oil and sea salt.
Here are the Yelp and Urbanspoon pages for Gusto: http://www.yelp.ca/biz/gusto-101-toronto and http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/10/1624573/restaurant/King-West/Gusto-101-Toronto.
Please respect our group and members, only RSVP if you are certain that you can attend.
Also, there will be a $2 cover to cover subscription costs for this event, please bring change!
Thank you everyone, see you next week!
