Bailout Facts Town Hall Oct. 29 with 14th District Congressional Candidates.

NEW YORK, New York (October 24, 2008) ? On Wednesday, October 29, 2008, between 7 and 9 PM, a panel consisting of Democratic Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney (or her representative), Libertarian Congressional Candidate Isaiah Matos, Republican Congressional Candidate Robert Heim, State Assembly Candidate Bill Buran for the Greater NYC Campaign for Liberty and a representative for the NYC Green Party, will answer voters? questions at a Town Hall Meeting.

The panel includes all three candidates in the 14th Congressional District (East Side and Queens) as well as representatives of a diverse set of political perspectives, the Green Party, the Libertarian Party and Ron Paul?s Campaign for Liberty. The Conservative Party, The Independence Party and the Nader campaign were invited to participate but either declined or did not respond.

The Town Hall Meeting will take place at the Ukrainian East Village Restaurant, 140 Second Avenue, New York, NY 10003.

The Town Hall format will allow predetermined questions relating directly to the facts of the bailout plan. Nearly half the event will be allocated to questions by audience members and the media.

This event is open to all members of the media and to the public.
Participation is encouraged.
