Celebrating Borlaug Day

Join and bring some food along to celebrate Borlaug Day with Auckland EAs!

Borlaug Day celebrates the high-yield crops developed by Norman Borlaug which were responsible for averting mass famine and starting the 'Green Revolution'.

This is a potluck dinner (i.e. bring a plate). Please feel free to bring your favourite wheat/grain products (gluten-free will be available for anyone who's coeliac) or something else along (please note that many EAs are vegan)!

We'll have on offer:

• a brief intro to Borlaug
• our potluck dinner
• a documentary and some discussion questions
• various board games, including farming adjacent board games for those keen to stay late
