PLEASE MAKE NOTE: Due to the inclement weather forecasted for Saturday 9/16/2023, I will have to reschedule this outdoor event to the following week.
It is time for an in-person Meetup event and what better place to kick it off than the beautiful Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio! We will meet at the RiverCenter Mall (https://shoprivercenter.com/) at 4:00 PM CDT on Saturday September 24, 2023 in the lower level Food Court Area. We will enjoy a light dinner and refreshments within the area and then proceed to the Riverwalk for a early evening stroll. We then will regroup for some a brief discussion and then prayer back at the RiverCenter before we depart.
This is a casual meeting.

If you need a ride within reasonable distance, please let the organizer know in advance so that we can find a solution.

The focus of this group is fellowship (Koinonia*). It is all about being able to come together and enjoy conversation about our faith in Jesus Christ and living our life as an act of worship. It will be a mixture of online and in person meetups that will allow for true fellowship.

As long as the core fundamentals of Christianity are agreed upon, we can agree to disagree on the minute differences that we may have peaceably.
COMMON CORE BELIEFS:

1. Acknowledge that we are sinners that are in need of salvation.
2. Accept that there is no other way we can be saved from our sin besides believing on Jesus Christ for the atonement and remission of sin.
3. Repent of our sin and choose to turn from our sinful ways and desire to live a life that is pleasing and acceptable to God.
4. Believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that Jesus Crist died for us to pay the full and final cost for sin and that He is our Lord and Savior.
5. Be baptized in water to proclaim our salvation decision to the world and seek and desire the baptism of the Holy Spirit of God.
6. Commit to the discipleship process by finding an Assembly or Congregation that disciples believers and prepares them for a successful walk with Jesus Christ.
