What we're about
This group is perfect for anyone who is looking to get started with a new type of workout routine in the new year but doesn't want to do it alone. All levels and ages are welcome. I started this group to bring awareness to functional training and how it can serve us in our everyday lives as we continue to age. These group workouts generally begin with a portion focused on strength development like back squats, push presses and chest presses; followed by an agility movement to get our heart rate up and improve hand eye coordination; ending with accessory movements and stretching to encourage overall muscle health. Class sizes are small so each person can get the individual coaching they need for an effective injury free workout. Weight training not only improves bone density but also works our heart on different planes for a complete cardio workout. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise to help you improve your workout routine or take it to the next level.
