What we're about

Enjoy walking and /or jogging in Adelaide and surrounds with a group of like-minded people. Suitable for those who like a casual stroll and for those who enjoy those long-distance jogs! Enjoy a drink or meal afterwards with a friendly and similarly sweaty group!

Mawson Lakes 5km walk.

Boatdeck Cafe

Meet next to the lake opposite the Boatdeck Cafe for one of 3 different walks around lakes and wetlands of Mawson Lakes. Each walk is an approx 5km circuit and takes about 1 hour. It's an easy route, reasonably flat and please be considerate to others by arriving a few minutes early as we'd like to leave on time! As this is a circular route, we can cater for any fitness level or speed. We always catch up afterwards to relax, chat and have a coffee or meal at the Boatdeck Cafe. If, when we ARRIVE, the WEATHER is not the best (TOO HOT OR TOO WET), it may be decided to skip the walk and go straight to the Boatdeck Cafe! (So far this has only happened ONCE, so if you turn up there's bound to be someone else there too!) Voluntary Meetup Contribution - $1.00 By recording a YES RSVP and/or attending this Event you are agreeing to our Policies & Guidelines and our Disclaimer & Release.
