Insights into a transition from Live Music in Spain to IT/Agile in Australia

Tonight’s session David Williams – Agile coach at ANZ, will interview a young man from Spain who has been on a courageous journey to transition his career from live music production, concert sound and lighting around Spain to IT/Agile in Melbourne. Having to become fluent in English was only one of the many challenges he had to face. He worked in hospitality whilst self-teaching himself about Agile, learning English, making new connections at events multiple times a week and adapting himself to fight against uncertainty. An experience full of tough moments and funny situations. He couldn’t have made it through the experience without the help of the community and his current company, Innodev. During two hours, we will be sharing his story full of emotions and challenges with the objective to empower others to fight for their challenges and contribute to building this great community in Melbourne. It will be a session of two-way conversation where all people in the room are encouraged to contribute. Our goal is that through Sergio’s story you can learn insights about what to do, what not to do, ways to get motivated and how to appreciate tough times when you are in the middle of a career change, country change or trying to achieve difficult challenges. And a huge thanks to our event sponsor and host Innodev Pty Ltd. Seats are limited. Please make sure that you update your RSVP if you are not attending.
