The Art and Power of Storytelling
Come and learn how to find, shape and tell stories from your experiences and how storytelling can co-create a human centred project culture through community building.

Disengagement in the workplace is rife, poor communication is commonplace and mental illness and mental distress are epidemic. Storytelling is a tool that works on multiple levels to create a team culture that nurtures the whole person, builds trust and connection, and enables deeper connection to purpose and values. It is also a brilliant leadership tool.

About Kate Lawrence
Kate is the founder of Story Wise, a purpose driven enterprise that exists to make the world more whole using storytelling, playfulness, purpose, and distributed leadership. She delivers organisation-wide story programs, a story coaching program for leaders, community and social justice storytelling programs and she hosts a monthly women’s storytelling night. As practising storyteller she also crafts and tells stories on commission.
Kate is an oral storyteller, workshop facilitator, a TEDx speaker, twice Moth Story Slam winner and, creator of the sell out show 'Fantastic Feminist Folktales'. She worked as a community lawyer for nearly twenty years, in and with non-profits, local governments and community and state agencies.
