What we're about

Interested in learning and sharing experiences about better ways of developing things, by doing it and helping others do it? (more at http://agilemanifesto.org/ (http://agilemanifesto.org/)))

The goals of this Meetup are to:

• share knowledge and experience about anything Agile

• discuss latest development in topics related to Agile

• get to know each other and have fun :-)

The Meetups will be interactive, and we'll also try to invite interesting speakers where we can.

Everyone is most welcome to this new group. From curious newcomers who wish to learn more about what "doing Agile" means, and experienced old hands from the trenches who have valuable know-how to share. It's for all types of organisations - startups, multi-nationals, not for profits - all are welcome.

The aim of this group is not just to discuss process, but also to talk about different languages, tools and technologies that are well suited to these environments. We are looking forward to meet you.

Lastly - If your company is interested in sponsoring, no matter how much, please let us know.

Agile for Beginners

What drives you joining Agile Hong Kong group? You may have heard about it from friends or colleagues in the software development business. You may have seen people standing up in circles with post it notes all over glass walls and wondering what they are doing. If you are having puzzles why people are doing all these, we are going to explore these in this session. This session is designed for those are new to agile and wondering what agile might mean for them or organizations. This session shall start with an introduction exploring elements behind Agile and Scrum, and then followup with Lean Coffee style Q&A as a demonstration how Agile works. There is a limit to number of participants that can be catered. Kindly leave priority to those who are new to Agile. Thank you TEKsystems sponsoring venue for this meetup.
