What we're about

Amnesty International is a not-for-profit human rights organisation that demands the protection of human rights for all people around the world. Our vision is of a world in which every person enjoys all of the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights instruments. If you live in South East QLD (Brisbane, Ipswich & Gold Coast) and would like to get involved with one of our local action groups keep an eye out for events on this Meetup page. Getting involved in your community means you will be able to raise awareness about human rights issues and inspire people to take action. If your area does not have any meetups you can talk to us about getting a new action group started in your community by contacting qldaia@amnesty.org.au.
