Here at Berks Nature, we believe nature is essential to our quality of life. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit conservation organization, Berks Nature has been serving the Berks County community since 1974.
Land preservation, water protection, trail management, community gardens, State of the Environment, Eco-Camp, Berks Nature Preschool, and our valued partnerships are at the center of Berks Nature's work every day.
Our headquarters are inside our brand-new environmental education center, The Nature Place, which sits among nearly 100-acres in Reading's Angelica Creek Park. Take a stroll through the wetland trails throughout the park. Let the kiddos run free with their imagination in our Nature Play Zone. Then retreat inside to our lobby and store for a tour of the green features of the building, designed to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) silver status.
Join us for one of our many programs or events, and see what Berks Nature and The Nature Place can offer you.
