What we're about

Ever suffered from depression or anxiety? Currently suffering? Join a group of runners who, like you, have experienced the 'black dog'. We will listen and not judge, support and comfort. We know it is possible to cry and jog! The Black Dog Institute states that people who exercise regularly experience fewer symptoms of depression than those who do not. Exercise in general raises levels of serotonin as well as endorphins which have 'mood lifting' properties. The hard part is making the commitment. Need a call to check you'll be there? We will ring to inspire you to make the run. The course is a 5km circuit around South Bank, run or walk. Starting each Sunday at 6am. Take it at your own pace - someone will be with you, by your side, the whole way.
