Introduction to Dzogchen Meditation - New 6 week course
Introduction to Meditation new course beginning Saturday 25th August . The ancient method of Dzogchen meditation allows the mind, body and energy to rest all at once. Scientific research shows that meditation will not only change our mind but also our brain to bring about lasting well-being. Through the practice of mindfulness and meditation, we learn to be more present in thoughts, words and actions. Each week you will be guided through Dzogchen meditation practices to help focus and calm the mind. When the mind is peaceful we can balance our thoughts and emotions so that they don't trouble us as we go about our daily life. You are also welcome to participate in our ongoing study course where we listen to and discuss recorded teachings on meditation and Dzogchen given by revered Tibetan lama, His Eminence Dzogchen Rinpoche. The course is suitable for those with little or no previous meditation experience as well as those who are more experienced. The meditation course is held every Saturday morning at 10 am at Kelvin Grove. The course fee is still only $10 per session or $50 for the whole 6 week course. We are also delighted to announce that Dzogchen Rinpoche will be teaching in Brisbane with a Public Talk on 19th October and a 3 day Seminar from 20th to 22nd October.
