What we'll do
If you haven't ventured over the Hornibrook Bridge to see Redcliffe, Clontarf etc, here's an opportunity to explore this beautiful part of SEQ.
We'll be walking for 8kms from Pelican Park in Clontarf, along the waterfront to Woody Point Village, up past the Gayundah shipwreck for one kilometre, then back to Woody Point Village for breakfast at The Belevedere, then back to Pelican Park. The walk is in full sun, so don't forget to wear sunscreen and bring water. The walk is mostly flat.
Directions: Go to the LAST section of Pelican Park which is opposite Hornibrook Bait & Tackle and Maine Road. If you are not opposite Hornibrook Bait and Tackle, you are in the wrong part of the park. Park in the first carpark. Meet at the undercover picnic spot.
Bring water and a $2 coin as contribution towards the organisational and Meetup costs.
Carpool if necessary. I have three spots in my car from Wynnum.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
