What we'll do

We start this walk in Lota (train station [Cleveland line] is just around the corner) and go through real Aussie bush, along creeks and a bit of mangrove, beside the rail line, on the cycleway some way. It is really pretty. And yes, you can bring your dog but keep in mind on the cycleway, best to keep them close as it is just one lane.

Lota is a very old part of Brisbane and there are quite a few gorgeous small wooden houses being renovated (and sadly knocked down). So come and explore a part of Brisbane you probably haven't explored, unless you are a local.

We will then head to Manly - Coopers - for brunch.

Now 8kms is a guess because there is no way of measuring the walk but I walk for about 1.5 - 1.75 hours every time.

Please remember your $2 coin as contribution to the organisational and meetup costs. And water.

Looking forward to showing you around my part of town (Wynnum/Manly/ Lota). Markets might be on in Manly so you could make a day of it too.

Consider carpooling if you are from the northside or catch train.

GOOGLE MAP IS CORRECT TO MEETUP POINT. Get on The Esplanade, head to Lota, and it ends in a turnaround circle. You can't miss us if on that turnaround circle.
