What we'll do

I reckon this is one the prettiest walks in Canberra.

The route includes:
• a secret trail behind the Old Brickworks
• views across Lake Burley Griffin
• a wander past the Governor-General's residence
• off leash time at a hidden cricket oval.

The walk is mainly flat, approximately 5 km, and with a group may take up to 2 hours to complete. We'll be walking on paved paths, dirt tracks and grassy ovals.

See our Yarralumla walk ( directions and map for more info.

There's plenty of free parking at our meeting point at the Yarralumla Dog Park at the corner of Banks and Brown Streets.

Please be aware that all off-leash activities are at the discretion of the walk guide. If for any reason they feel any dog should be back on lead, please understand their decision, as they are trying to please a large group and to keep everyone - dog and human - safe.

We ask $5 per adult ($5.20 if paying by card) to be paid to the guide at the beginning of the walk to help cover our meetup subscription, insurance, travel, internet and other costs. We will gladly provide a refund if you are not happy for any reason.
