Robert Louis Stevenson (1850–1894): Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (1886)

What we'll do

Tonight we are going to meet from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM to read:

· Robert Louis Stevenson (1850–1894): Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (1886) - Part Two

This is the second of two meetings during which we will be reading the whole novella:

16 August --> Robert Louis Stevenson (1850–1894): Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (1886) - Part One
23 August --> Robert Louis Stevenson (1850–1894): Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (1886) - Part Two

Participants are required to have a copy of the text with them (either the book, or as printed paper, or as digital copy on an electronic device).

A digital copy of the text can be downloaded from:
1) http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/42
2) http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/43
3) https://ebooks.adelaide.edu.au/s/stevenson/robert_louis/s848dj/

The plan is to read the text and, if necessary, briefly explain passages needing explanation. We will try to keep comments to a minimum in order to complete the reading.

Attending is free and cost-less: "free" means that there are no fees; "cost-less" means there are no hidden costs.

Gold coin donations are welcome to cover meetup account costs.
