What we'll do
The parkrun is on again, and this week I'll be back at Weston Park, doing their parkrun on a winter's Saturday morning.
This is the most picturesque course in Canberra, following the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. We'll meet at next to the public toilets at 7:45am and head down to the Lake for a few hounded metres, hear the brief and do the run at 8am, and maybe go for coffee, after, if people are interested.
The course, is quite flat, but also has some undulating moments, 2.5km straight out and back, on a bike path, and follows the shoreline of Lake Burly Griffin, till we hit a block of public toilets, do a 180 and retrace our steps, and head back to the start, sucking in the Lake's vista and not wanting the run to finish. Details of the course here: https://www.parkrun.com.au/burleygriffin/course/
If you haven't done so already, you'll need to register here: https://www.parkrun.com.au/register/, from my understanding, if you have registered overseas, you won't need to re-register.
I'll be doing the run, rail, hail, shine, or even snow , so if you want to get out and join me and experience a great start to your Saturday, you're welcome to come along, but don't forget your barcode.
