Emotional wellbeing, resilience, and self awareness are important attributes our children need today to enable them to grow up into well rounded adults.
The purpose of the program is to encourage a child to recognise their own feelings and emotions and how to understand others moods. A parent or guardian accompanies the child with a vision that the language and skills learnt flow on through the entire family.
ELMA is specifically targeted to children aged between 5 - 9 years of age.
How can ELMA help my child?
Your child(ren) will be taken through a fun and adventurous 6 week program which builds their emotional literacy where they will learn the essential life skills for understanding their own emotions and those of the people around them.
The program invites the children on an adventure with two little chooks called Jazzy and Pinky.
Through simple and fun educational activities and games, the children are taught awareness of emotional intelligence that is cemented in a series of cartoons and take home playbook.
They learn to meditate and apply practical tools of application in the real world using mindfulness techniques empowering them with the capacity to unplug in a plugged in world.

Kinesthetic awareness and techniques - body awareness, intrinsic and extrinsic awareness

This program relies on the active participation of parents/guardians. We ask that a parent/guardian join in the class and to commit to implementing the message at home. A very easy take home playbook which is completed each day is provided and brought back to class the following week. This ensures a long lasting positive change which will support your child throughout their life.
