Let’s spend an afternoon at the beginning of each season in my home in Coburg North enjoying creative writing and speaking exercises and games from Paul Matthews’ book, Sing Me the Creation: A sourcebook for poets and teachers, and for all who wish to develop the life of the imagination. I did workshops with Paul in Australia and England and enjoyed them very much, as I trust that we'll relish his keyholes into the life of imagination through the word.
when: 2:30 for 3 – 5pm, usually on the first Sunday in January, April, July & October

The book's divided into the four kinds of sentences, so let's use this as a structure:
January / summer / choleric / fire / command;
April / autumn / phlegmatic / water / statement
July / winter / melancholic / earth / question; &
October / spring / sanguine / air / exclamation.
I may also occasionally organise other creative language events, especially through The Wheeler Centre at the The State Library, Melbourne's centre for books, writing and ideas.
