MINDNET is a community based social group that aims to get people with Depression and Bipolar out of the house and connecting with other people who understand what it is like living with depression or bipolar. The organisers are volunteers who have experienced mental illness first hand and have an understanding of the issues affecting people suffering from this illness.
We organise social activities like Coffee, Dinner, BBQ etc. We organise meetings approximately on a fortnightly basis, usually somewhere central in the city. Most of our meetups are on a weekend, though we do have the odd mid-week meetup. If there is a specific event that you would like to attend or host, please contact one of our organisers with the details.
