Session 1
Using blockchain for non-crypto currency use cases
Are blockchain and bitcoin the same thing? No they aren't! Get some deeper understanding of blockchain and find out how blockchain can be applied in the real world.

Speaker: Katherine Robins, Partner, Cyber Security, Deloitte
Bio: Katherine’s expertise is as a technical cyber security professional with over 20 years’ experience across all areas of security (e.g. vulnerability management, penetration testing, security operations, security engineering, architecture and design, risk and compliance, cloud security, new and emerging technologies).
Prior to joining Deloitte Australia, she has worked in financial services, automotive, consulting, telecommunications, mining and higher education sectors.

Blockchain and Enterprise adaptation & next generation ERP
All major ERP software providers i.e. SAP are now have Blockchain as a Service and already recognising next generation of ERP and Blockchain ecosystem. Get some deeper understanding of blockchain usage at the enterprise level and some insights into what ERP vendors are doing in blockchain space.

Why you should not use blockchain
Find out the misconceptions of blockchain, and equally where it makes sense to use it. See real world examples from Everledger to evidence how they are using it, why, and to solve what problems. Special focus on convergence of tech on financial services

Speaker: Louise Mercer, Head of Australia, New Zealand and Singapore for Everledger, a global enterprise that tracks the provenance of high-value assets on a digital global ledger in an authenticated immutable manner.
Louise is a creative and forward-thinking strategic leader trained in translating disruption and strategic risks into opportunities for innovation. She has held senior roles with Australia’s largest general insurers Suncorp and IAG, designing, facilitating and delivering the strategy for strategic renewal of existing business models.
