Kuden Paul B.

London, ON

Organiser since:

31 January 2015

Please describe any prior meditation experience you might have.

My first exposure to Zen meditation was in the mid 1980s, but I didn't start a regular meditation practice until the early 90s.

What got you interested in Zen meditation?

My initial interest came from studying martial arts. However, as I got older, some personal growth work evolved more toward Buddhism and Zen meditation.

Kuden began practising Zen in the early 1990s. His Zen training took place primarily at the Chapel Hill Zen Center in North Carolina. He was priest ordained in 2003 and Shuso ordained in 2009 from Josho Pat Phelan, of the Chapel Hill Zen Center.
