This is a group for Cruiser Style Bikes Only and is Targeted mainly for Gold Coast Cruiser Riders to enjoy rides through the Hinterlands and on to the Outer West and or down to Northern N.S.W Region's to experience this beautiful part of The World
We usually like to ride in smaller groups of friendly experienced riders able to keep pace, so Corner Markers & Tail End Charlie's are not necessary. For this reason most rides will be capped.
Unless otherwise stated, Rides will usually be moderate to "Spirited" and you will need to keep pace. (Speed limit)
We also have rides catering to newer riders, those rides will be marked as such.
We don't care what Make of Cruiser you ride, your choice of Cruiser is an individual thing, diversity makes the group more interesting.
The success of our group is entirely dependant on the hard work and dedication of the members who take the time and effort to organise and host rides.
We encourage all members to participate, by either Posting and or suggesting rides.
The larger ''Motor Cycle Meetup'' groups are great people and organise excellent rides, we will try to fill in any gaps with alternatives aimed mainly at local Cruiser Bike riders.
We have decided to limit membership to avoid the group becoming hard to manage and organise, and feel that Big is not necessarily better for us. It just becomes more complicated for the Organisers who also have family and work commitments to attend to.
Membership for people outside the Gold Coast area may be considered if they are recommended by a current member.
Current members are able to bring along "Guest Riders" on bikes other than cruisers provided there are no objections.
Our members are by and large a friendly relaxed group of individuals, who just like to ride and enjoy a chat over coffee or lunch, anyone creating disharmony or trouble will be removed without discussion.
Our aim is to have a small group of riders who' Like to Ride' on a Regular basis. Periodically we will tidy up the membership by deleting inactive members, we prefer to have fewer Active members than Heap's of inactive ones.
If you feel you were removed unfairly, re-join and become more involved, that's what it's all about. :-)
The group has an annual subscription of $10.00 due each March or prior to completing the fourth ride with the group. This is to help cover the costs of running the Meetup website.
