Morocco Anti Atlas Recce £150 deposit payable on RSVP Pete Hyde and Gareth Clarke would like to take you on an adventure! On our travels around the remote Anti-Atlas Mountains of Southern Morocco, we have noticed the massive potential to explore and climb mountains that very few people have ever ventured. We would like to take a small capable group to help us explore all this untapped potential. This together with the places we stay, the food we eat and the Berber people we stay with will all make this a great adventure. Possible objectives include Adrar Mqorn, the Abdellah Cirque and routes from the Ait Mansour Gorge. Everyone must be mountain fit and have experience of exposed grade 1 scrambling. Nepal adventure, trek to Everest Base Camp Deposit on RSVP £250 This trip is 17 days depart London 18th Oct, arrive London 3th Nov The iconic Everest Base Camp Trek leads us from Lukla through majestic high mountain scenery with Stupas and Buddhist monasteries decorated with colorful prayer flags to EBC 5365m we climb the peak of Kalapatar 5,644m for world-class panorama and the best view of Mount Everest, Sagarmatha in Nepalese, our steps a retraced to Lukla where we return to Kathmandu and our flight home. Trekking along the valley from Lukla, 2,845m you are surrounded by the Himalayan giants including Cho Oyu, Nuptse, and Lhotse. On the trek, you’ll pass farms, villages and terraced fields and friendly Nepali communities. You hike the Namche Bazaar 3440m for a day of acclimatization and an excursion to Thame and Khumjung, the green village. Then it’s on to the largest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region at Tengboche 3,867m, before visiting EBC 5365m Continuing along the trail, you’ll reach our high point Kalapatar 5,644m a peak on the south ridge of Pumori, overlooking the spectacular Khumbu Glacier and the community of tents at Everest Base Camp. Come and explore the beautiful Surrey Hills and this area of outstanding natural beauty. This classic hike takes us from Westhumble Station to Box Hill where we can see some breathtaking views across the Surrey countryside. From Westhumble station we walk to Burford Bridge where we ascend a stony path past The Whites to Box Hillfort and the Salomons Memorial viewpoint. Following the track northwards through a wood, the views open out at Lodge Hill where we descend to the valley bottom. The path now leads to Mickleham church before climbing steeply up to Mickleham Downs. We hike to the old Roman road at Stane Street and onto the Gallops then the trail dips into the valley then curves uphill to Headly Heath. From the top of the heath, we drop down to the Brockham Lime works where a set of steep steps take us back to Box Hill. A steep descent down 275 steps takes us down to the River Mole where we cross seventeen hexagonal stepping stones. The final leg meanders along the river through Burford Meadow and back to the station. MEETING TIME: 08:50 London Victoria, in front of the departure boards near platform 12. we will be catching the 09:35 train to Boxhill-Westhumble arriving at 10:19 due back in London, 18:00. This spectacular walk through the garden of England is steeped in History We pass Tonbridge Castle and follow the Eden Valley through quintessential rolling countryside, passing through Haysden Country Park to Penhurst Castle a large manor house. The path continues to the National Trust village of Chiddingstone, with a Castle half-timbered houses, large cricket green, dominated by the Church of St Mary. Leading westward the track takes us past Hever Castle restored, the Boleyn family and Henry VIII connections, and beautiful Italian gardens, before taking us to Hever Station and the train home. MEETING TIME: 09:30 London Bridge Station, downstairs by the main ticket hall we will be taking 10:09 train arriving at Tonbridge 11:05.
