What we'll do

This month we'll be looking at the exciting opportunities brought about by digital technology in the health sector. We have a great lineup of speakers including:

John Jordan, from Organised Health Technologies, will tell the story of their pharmacy start-up so far and (hopefully!) pique the interest of the Glasgow design community in bringing pharmacy into the 21st century

Ross Tuffee, Co-founder of DOGFI.SH Mobile (, will discuss the importance of creating behaviour change within a health mobile application.

Vaida Plankyte, an indie game developer and narrative designer, Vaida will discuss the ways in which video games can create positive outcomes within the areas of mental health.

Angus McCann of IBM will introduce IBM's cognitive Computing platform 'Watson' and then highlight its use in the context of healthcare, an industry that we all have some reliance upon. It will outline some of the early use cases that are being addressed with Watson.

We'll also be joined by the team at @WeeJus who will be bringing along some free samples for us to test!

With more speakers to be announced!
