In this fast-paced world, where everyone suffers from overflowing email inboxes, information overload and intense deadlines, stress, anxiety, and pressure to succeed are on the rise across all age groups and professions. The antidote to this scattered, sometimes frantic, state which helps you return to the present moment so you can be fully aware, and appreciative of joy, beauty, and peace in our everyday life is having a Mindfulness meditation practice. The Weekly Meditation Class is a perfect introduction to the Mahayana Buddhist teachings and an opportunity to connect with other practitioners or meditators. It begins with a group meditation practice followed by a talk or Q&A by two of our senior monastics, Rev Heng Sure and Rev Heng Chih or other experience meditators. Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners. The Weekly Meditation Class is an opportunity to meditate in a supportive group setting and for those are curious about how Buddhist wisdom and meditation can be applied to every day life.Bring your friends!
