For the more Experienced riders - Lets ride through Murwillumbah to Cawongla
Enjoy a ride in a fun and relaxed atmosphere! This ride is suitable for the more experienced riders; however, the emphasis is on safety, not speed! There will be an experienced and safety-conscious rider at the head and at the tail. ABOUT THE RIDE - THE FUN BIT! We will leave Top Rider at 8:30am. This ride will go over Tomewin, through Murwillumbah to Uki for morning tea. We will then continue on to Cawongla and through to Lismore for lunch. On the way home we will travel through Chillingham back to Nerang and home. Alan will be taking this ride. Please note that the finish time is an estimate. A couple of points: • Please be sure to arrive with a full tank of fuel • Having safety gear is extremely important - at the very least we need you to wear helmet, protective jacket, jeans and gloves. If you don't have them you can borrow from Top Rider with a $50 refundable deposit • Please arrive 30 mins before the ride so we can run through some systems to make the ride flow better (learn the riding formation, buddy system, cornering marshal system etc) • If you are a novice rider and new to this or want to refresh your skills, it may help to watch our Road Craft video ( https://youtu.be/CZDvoyVVzJA?list=PLVHa76OGGtC-c66-cPPrwcih68H9rvuZO ) before the ride We will meet at 8am, fully-fuelled for a 8:30am departure. This is for more experienced riders, but check our Meetup page for rides suitable for novice and inexperienced riders. Again, please ensure that the bikes are fully-fuelled and ready to leave at 8:30am, so that the group is not held up.

    What we're about

This group is for motorcyclists interested in motorcycle activities like social rides, gymkhanas, learning new riding techniques, motorcycle sporting events , training sessions, other motorcycle social events. Our group is to have a place where the new rider can feel welcome and gain support in the pursuit of the motorcycle life-style. Let’s get together for that local ride in the afternoon for a couple hours. Our social rides are more for motorbike newbies, novice riders and those that want a relaxed ride. Want more? Do the Gymkhana at Carrara where other motorcyclist have a ball, watch local racing live or even Moto GP. Come and learn some more important riding techniques, a couple of hours at a time, like Road-Craft, barrel-turns, U-Turns, Emergency Braking etc. We are all about having fun on a bike, learning and socialising.
