What we'll do
Ideas Won't Keep. Something Must Be Done About Them. – Alfred North Whitehead
Do you have an idea you want to share?
Maybe you need people to help you to grow it into something else or maybe you would just like to practise talking about it in public. Our Bright Ideas Speed Pitch is designed to help you with both.
This time around, we're inviting anyone to pitch about anything - it just has to be under two minutes long. Community events, existing businesses, changes to your product or service offering, upcoming symposiums, or you can use this as a friendly forum to practise public speaking - we want it all.
Come along and pitch to us and your peers. There's a great range of prizes, including access to coworking spaces, a business masterclass and more.
Or - you can, of course, register to simply come and listen to what other people have going on in your local area.

See you there!
What is pitching?
Pitching is fancy entrepreneur speak for public speaking. It is all about expressing an idea in a short and engaging way.
I'm not sure how to pitch an idea in two minutes?
Contact us and we can provide you with some tips and tricks and also some suggested templates for how you might structure what you say.
What if I'm not sure I'm ready to pitch?
Go on - give it a go! It's a very supportive environment. If you're still unsure, come along and see how it's done.
Can I bring props or a presentation?
It works best if you're prepared to present with no props, as this is all about building your speaking skills to engage people's interest as you're not always going to have props on hand. You can bring props if you really need to but there won't be time to include a presentation in a short pitch.
